Tuesday,February 7 & Saturday, February 11 - Volleyball will be held at the Activities Building at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
Wednesday, February 8 - Kid's Night at the church from 6:00-7:00 p.m. All kids in Pre-K through 5th grades are welcome!
A game night will be held next Sunday evening,February 12 at 6:00 p.m. There will be a regular carry-in meal and the college students will be invited as well. Bring some food to share and games to play and enjoy an evening with friends.
Do you have a job or project that your Glade youth could help with? We are looking for opportunities to serve others in the community. Please contact Ashley Brenneman, Adam Opel, Ryan VanNosdeln, Amanda Monahan Nicole Opel, Dan VanNosdeln or Mike Brenneman, or signup int he back of the church, if you have an opportunity for us.
We are in the process of getting a new pulpit (see church board meeting minutes). Suggestions for what should be done with the old pulpit may be given to Jonathan Martin or any member of the church board.
Elaine Yoder's birthday was inadvertently left off the church birthday calendar. It should be listed on September 19th.
Springs Mennonite Church will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Saturday, February 18th from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the church. Appointements appreciated - Walk-Ins Welcome!!! You may call the church office at 1-814-662-4201. Double Red Cell donation process available.
The Leadership Council (formerly called Coordinating Council) is rescheduling The Spring Life and Faith Gathering (formerly called Spring Delegate Meeting) which was scheduled for March 3rd. It will be rescheduled for March 31st at Crossroads Community Church, Johnstown, PA. The reason for this change is that the Leadership Council is having a work retreat weekend the last weekend in February and there will not be ample time following that weekend to get information out ahead of time to our conference delegates. A delegate mailing will go out the first of March with information pertaining to the meeting on the 31st.
