Everyone is invited to stay for the fellowship meal following the service.
Monday, January 5 – The Vision Team will meet at CAOS at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, January 6 – Volleyball will be held at the Bittinger gym at 7:00 p.m. Cost is $2.00 per person. Everyone is welcome!
Wednesday, January 7 – GLO (Glade Ladies Outreach) will meet at the church for a workday at 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday, January 7 – The Church Board will meet at the church at 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, January 8 – The Worship Committee will meet at 7:00 p.m.
Angel Food orders will be taken here at the church on Thursday, January 8th from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, January 9th & 10th from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. All orders are due by Monday, January 12th at 4:00 p.m.
Thanks to the whole church for all the joy you showed me throughout the year and especially at Christmas! Thanks for the senior citizen gift and all the cards. I especially enjoyed the pictures of the kids. It keeps me involved in the church family. Thanks for loving me so much and know that I love all of you! Thanks for the good food you give me when I eat here on fellowship meal day. Thanks for everything!

Gortner Union Church is planning a trip through Brethren Disaster Service to Johnson County, Indiana which suffered flood damage. The trip will be January 18-24, 2009. If anyone is interested in joining the trip, please contact Steve Sauder, pastor of Gortner at 301-334-4305. The only cost for individuals is to cover meals and snacks during travel.
